Tritium and EVCS to Deploy Additional 300 New Electric Vehicle Fast Chargers in California, Oregon, and Washington

[TORRANCE, Calif., July 28, 2022] — Tritium DCFC Limited (“Tritium” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: DCFC), a global leader in direct current (“DC”) fast chargers for electric vehicles (“EVs”), is partnering with EVCS, one of the largest EV fast-charging network operators on the West Coast, to deploy 300 new chargers across California, Oregon, and Washington. The order consists of 300 50kW Tritium RTM fast chargers, making the total Tritium DC fast charger contribution to the EVCS network over 800. With more states expected to follow California’s legislation mandating 100 percent of new vehicles sold generate zero emissions by 2035, partnerships like this are critical to ensuring public fast charging can meet the increased demand driven by the expected mass consumer adoption of EVs in the coming years.

EVCS Raises $68.8 Million to Accelerate Expansion of West Coast EV Fast Charging Network

LOS ANGELES – July 6, 2022 — EVCS, one of the largest electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging network operators on the West Coast, today announced the completion of a $68.8 million funding raise, comprised of a $50 million debt facility from Spring Lane Capital, and a Series A equity investment of $18.8 million co-led by Abdo Partners, Spring Lane Capital and the Copulos Group, an Australian Private Global Investor. Jett Capital Advisors also provided investment banking advisory services in support of the equity capital raise. The capital raised will support EVCS’ rapid expansion into 35+ new cities across California and Washington as well as increase charger density in its existing communities. EVCS plans to more than double its network footprint to nearly 1,500 chargers by 2023.

EVCS to Bring Free Electric Vehicle Charging to the West Coast Electric Highway

ARCADIA, Calif (September 28, 2021) – EVCS, one of the largest electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging network owner operators on the West Coast, today announced that starting in October 2021, EV owners can enjoy free charging at West Coast Electric Highway (WCEH) charging stations in Oregon and Washington until upgrades on the network are completed in late 2021/early 2022. This news comes on the heels of their recent announcement that EVCS was approved and funded by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) to upgrade 44 charging sites, add three new stations, and turn 11 into “superstations” in the Oregon portion of the WCEH.
