You can search by city or zip code through our EVCS app or by going to the EVCS find a charger page. You can also find our public chargers in your car in-vehicle infotainment system. All of our public chargers can be found via Plugshare, Google and Apple maps.
What EV’s does EVCS support?
EVCS chargers support all EVs on the road. For Teslas, we have 30+ locations retrofitted with Tesla adapters. Please check the EVCS app to see if the necessary charging connector or adapter is available.
How long will it take to charge my EV?
The majority of vehicles are able to charge to 80% in less than 90 minutes using an EVCS 50kW DC Fast Charger. Level 2 chargers charge between 18-25 miles of range per hour, taking approximately 8 hours to be fully charged.
How do I charge my EV with EVCS?
You can start charging on the EVCS network right away byfollowing these three simple steps:
1. Select one of the plans above and complete the enrollment process.
2. Download the EVCS app. Log into the app through the same email address and password you used to enroll in the plan.
3. On the app, locate an EVCS charger. Make sure to check any special instructions on the app on how to access the charger location. After you plug in your vehicle, use your app to scan the QR code at the charger. Follow the prompts on the app and your charging session will start right away! For some chargers, you may need to press the “start” button on the charger.
Are there any other fees I need to pay with my subscription?
With an EVCS charging subscription there are no hidden or additional fees, you pay one monthly flat rate giving you access to EVCS’ entire network of Level 2 and Level 3 DC fast chargers.
Do you offer pay-per-charge?
Yes! We have a network-wide pay-as-you-go rate of $0.29/kWh for Level 2 and $0.49/kWh for DC fast charging
If I’m having charger trouble, who can I contact?
Our EVCS Support Center is open 24/7/365 to address charger issues. We can be reached by phone at (866) 300-EVCS (3827) or at this link. Customers who call will be connected to a live agent, ready to help you get back on the road.
When will my subscription be billed each month?
You will be automatically billed one month after your initial purchase date. For example, if you purchased on June 6th, you will be billed the following month on July 6th. If you purchase your plan on the 29th, 30th, or 31st of the month, your billing date will be the 1st.
How many times per day can I charge with the Unlimited Anytime Pro plan?
With a monthly unlimited charging plan, you can charge as many times as you like. However, a total of one hour must elapse between charging sessions.
How many total charges will I get before I exceed the 200 kWh cap on the Standard Anytime plan?
200 kWh equates to about 7 charges a month based on a 50 kW battery and an efficiency of 0.26 kWh/mile (Battery capacity and efficiency based on the Tesla Model 3).
How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
You may upgrade or downgrade your EVCS subscription plan at any time. Your new billing date will become effective one month after the upgrade date. For downgrades, the adjustment will go into effect in the next billing cycle and no refunds will be provided for the remaining days in a billing cycle after downgrade or cancellation of a membership.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time by going to evcs.com/account or by clicking "subscription plan" in the app. Your plan will be active until the end of the billing cycle. You will not be refunded for any remaining days in the cycle.
Is the EVCS network expanding?
Yes! We are rapidly expanding, planning to more than double our network footprint to nearly 1,500 chargers by the end of 2023. We will be expanding into 35+ new cities and increasing charger density in the 60+ cities we are already in. See evcs.com/find-a-charger for locations coming soon!
Can I use my EVCS subscription on non-EVCS charging networks?
Your EVCS subscription only offers you charging access with the EVCS network. Your plan does not apply with other charging networks.
